I finished Clapotis a while ago and am very pleased with my finished product. Here are some photos, with the Clap kindly modeled by the lovely Miss B.

The photos don't do this colorway justice. In "real" life, the colors are darker and much more vibrant. It's made from Fleece Artist Kid Silk 3 ply in the colorway Marine that I got from this lovely place. Now they have an online store too! The Clap is the first thing I've knit, from beginning to end, with me in mind. I love to wear it to the movies, wrap it over me, and slip my thumbs in between some of the slipped stitches to secure it. Bottom line: it was a PITA to knit, but the finished product is well worth it, especially when made with an absolutely luscious yarn like Fleece Artist.
I also finished fetching. I made these gorgeous wristwarmers out of 100% Mongolian cashmere. I sent them to my youngest brother, who is currently studying in Egypt. Way cool!

These are also modeled by the lovely Miss B. You rock!
In other news, school started last week. Since I teach, this translates into little to no knitting time. I am, however, plugging away at a pair of socks for my bro in Egypt. I also just cast on for Grumperina's Jaywalkers. I just love these and have been meaning to make some for a while. They will be MINE.............. all MINE :).
